How do I setup filters?

1. Column A = ARTIST
2. Column B = SONG
3. Column C = FILTER #1 - appears as a search filter (i.e. genre).
4. Column D = FILTER #2 - appears as a search filter (i.e. decade).
5. Column E = DISC # - appears in the final request list as a visual song location reference (i.e. disc #).
6. Column F = TRACK # - appears in the final request list as a visual song location reference (i.e. track #).
7. Column G = LOCATION - used solely in the M3U file attachment that is sent with the final request list.

For FILTER #1 and FILTER #2, the search filters, It is recommended to not have more than 20-30 variations for each field. For example, if you are going to have genre as one of the fields, it is not recommended that you have more than 20-30 different genre types. Having more than this could cause the search page to load very slowly. 30 character max. Other examples of filters can be decade, year, tempo, BPM, style, event, function, mood, date, charts, ranking, etc.

For DISC # and TRACK #, location reference, you can have any data you wish not exceeding 30 characters. This could also contain additional "back end" information, such as song length, intro type, ending type, intro length, BPM, etc. This is visual information that will appear on the request list print out so you can locate the song at an event.

LOCATION is used for digital music play. For LOCATION, enter the fully qualified path to the song file as it appears on your hard drive, for example "C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Music\Artist\Song.mp3" (without quotes). This data will be used to generate a M3U file attachment that is sent via email with the final request list. Only Must Play and Play If Possible requests that contain location information are included in this file.

ARTIST and SONG are the only required fields. FILTER #1, FILTER #2, DISC #, TRACK #, and LOCATION are optional.

NOTE: If you choose to use DISC # and TRACK # but do not choose to use FILTER #1 and FILTER #2, they still must appear in columns E and F. In other words, you will have two blank columns (C and D) to serve as place holders.
