DJ Intelligence is owned by Intelligence, Inc., a privately held corporation
that is not affiliated with any other online services. We own (not rent
or lease) all of our servers and hardware, and are not "hosted" with
any service provider. The enhanced system we built from the ground up
is our very own and it is not shared with any other providers.
- Owned Hardware - We own all professional grade Dell and HP Windows servers
designed and built specifically for our application. Dell and HP servers
are among the most reliable in the industry.
- Lease Our Own Space - We lease space in a data center
in the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) Building to house our own servers.
The CBOT building is a one of the world's largest financial institutions
and is fully redundant in its power supply and communications.
- Multiple Data Backups - Frequent off-site data backups
are performed at every available opportunity to allow for quick
and seamless restoration in the event of a hardware failure or disaster.
- Hardware Backup - Complete hardware backup available
at all times for a seamless swap in the event of hardware failure.
- 24 Hour Global Server Monitoring - A 3rd party outside
service continuously monitors our server status from over a
dozen locations
around the world. We are immediately dispatched if our servers are
inaccessible from any location.
- 24 Hour Technician On Site - A technician remains on site in our
datacenter 24 hours a day to monitor the servers and network. Any
problems or outages are handled immediately to ensure minimal downtime.
- Fire Suppression System - Our data center has an early
fire detection system. In case of fire, HALON gas fire suppressant
is used to distinguish fire, which will not harm our servers or
other electronic equipment which prevents data loss.
- Connection/Bandwidth - Redundant bandwidth (Internet
connection) provided by multiple separate top tier providers delivers
us 100MB of reliable bandwidth. In addition, the CBOT has built
an infrastructure of fiber optic raisers throughout its building
which ensures easy delivery of any of many ISPs that are present
in the building. In the unlikely event of triple failure, other
providers can be delivered to our data center, if needed.
- BGP Routing - BGP routing automatically chooses the fastest,
most reliable Internet route for users accessing our servers, and
instantly switches to an alternate route in the event that the primary
connection fails, ensuring the highest rate of uptime, seamless
to users of our service.
- Redundant and Precision Power - The CBOT is the only
building in Chicago to draw power from 6 different city substations
which virtually ensures a continuous and reliable power supply.
As one of the largest financial centers in the world, the CBOT's
power supply is fully redundant. In addition, all power from the
building passes through onsite precision power units before reaching
our servers.
- Microsoft SQL Server Driven - The most scalable, high-performance
back-end drives our software at speeds and efficiency levels that
rival even the world's fastest search engines. Microsoft SQL Server
offers us the highest level of stability and security for our platform.
- Data Security - Your data is firewall protected on our
servers at all times and can only be accessed by you with your account
name and password, and selected members of our staff. Incorrect
password account-lockout prevents others from "guessing" your password.
Your data remains 100% protected and secure.
- Data Privacy - As per our privacy policy, your client
data is never shared with any 3rd parties. It remains 100% private,
only seen by you. In fact, much of the data simply "passes through"
as it is being emailed to you and is not stored on our system for
even our staff to see.
- 24/7 Manned Security and Video Surveillance - The security
in the CBOT is very extensive, including security guards and video
surveillance throughout the building. In addition the building is
patrolled by Chicago Police officers. Our servers are physically
safe and protected.
- 24/7 Support - We understand that your business operates
around the clock. We also understand that our web-based event planning
and management tools are critical to the operation of your business.
