Add "promo codes" to your Quote Generator to act as e-coupons

By very popular demand, you can now create promo codes for your Quote Generator. Promo codes are in essence electronic coupons. You set up a designated promotion, assign it a code, and specify the discount associated with that promotion. For example, you could create a promotion called "Winter Bridal Show" and assign it promo code "WBS1215". When you are at the bridal show, give the promo code WBS1215 to your prospective clients and tell them to enter it on your website for a special discount! Promo codes are great in tracking the sources of your leads as they come from offline sources. Add promo codes on the on the Quote Generator page under the Tool Configuration section of your control panel.

Add page breaks to your planning form printouts

By very popular demand, you can now add page breaks to your planning form printouts. You can set up the page to break anywhere you like on your report. This is especially useful if your planning form tends to break to a new page in the middle of an important table, such as the bridal party introductions. Adding a page break is as simple as adding a new table to your planning forms. Simply select "Page Break" in the Create New Table drop-down menu when editing your planning form. Add page breaks to your planning forms from the Planning Form edit screen under the Tool Configuration section of your control panel.

Change "Home" link labels on the bottom of all tools

You can now change the "Home" links that appear on the bottom of your tools. Previously, you could change the URL, or remove the URL to have no link appear. Now, with this added feature, you can actually change the labels that appear for such links. So if you have changed the URL and the link no longer points to your homepage, you can change the link to read something besides "Home", for example "Back" or "Go Back", etc. These settings are on the Master Settings page of your control panel.

Remove songs from your Guest Request lists with one click

You can now easily remove songs from your Guest Request lists with a single click. This is especially useful when a guest of an upcoming event requests a song that is inappropriate or out of place for that event. Now, when you hit the "Login" link to access a Guest Request list from inside of your control panel, a button labeled "ADMIN REMOVE" will appear next to each song, allowing only you, the administrator, to remove entire songs from the request list. When you log out of your control panel and close all of your browser windows, the system will reset and that button will no longer be visible. In addition, that button will only appear for you, the administrator. None of the guests will ever have access to this button. They will continue to only be able to add or remove their own requests within the parameters you've set.

Select default sort order for Event Information area of control panel

You can now select the default sort order for the Event Information area of your control panel to sort by either client name or event date. Previously the system defaulted to client name. With this new feature, you can now select to have the system default sort by event date as well.

Add two client signature lines to your booking system document

You can now select to have an additional signature line appear for your clients on the booking system document. Previously you could select no signature lines, one signature line (for client to sign only), and two signature lines (one for client and one for company). With this added feature you can select to have three signature lines appear, two for the client and one for the company. Or you can select two signature lines, both for client. This is perfect for weddings where you may want both the bride-to-be and groom-to-be to sign separately.

Search links added to Top 200 Songs page - Top 200 Songs has FASTER loading

By popular demand, two new enhancements have been added to the Top 200 Song page. First, the back-end system has been re-written for increased speed and performance. You may have noticed that the Top 200 page took up to 10 seconds or longer to load previously. Now loading is instantaneous. It takes less than a second to load over broadband! Search links have also been added to the artist and song title so your clients can quickly click on a song to see if you have it in your library. Clicking on the artist name will search for all songs by that artist. Clicking on the song name will search all instances of that song.

Planning form and timeline "type" now listed in Event Information area

When viewing client planning forms and timelines from within the Event Information area of your control panel, there is now a column displaying the "type" of form. This is useful if you have multiple forms for the same client, i.e. "Wedding Ceremony" and "Wedding Reception" planners or timelines. Now you can quickly see which one is which, and open the appropriate form directly.

View date last saved or submitted for each planning form, timeline, request list, and survey

From within the Event Information area of your control panel, you can now hover your mouse over the client's name and a pop-up will appear displaying the date last saved or submitted for each planning form, timeline, and request list. This is very helpful in determining if a client has logged back in unknowingly to you and made additional changes to their forms after you have already printed them off.

Add a "Close Window" link to the bottom of your tools for use with pop-up integration

If you integrate your tools using a pop-up window, we've added the ability for you to add a "Close" or "Close Window" link to the bottom of your tools. This will give your website visitors a way to easily close the pop-up window when they are done working with the tool, and quickly get back to your main site. To set this up, please visit the Master Settings page of your control panel.

Set a limit or deactivate "Custom Song" selections on the Music Database

You can now set a limit on "Custom Song" selections on the Music Database tool. This feature was previously available on the Must Play, Play if Possible, and Do Not Play lists, but not on Custom Song selections. This new feature works in the exact same way and can be controlled from the Master Settings page of your control panel. Setting the value to "0" removes the "Custom Song" selection ability altogether.

Turn off the "Attach Note" feature on the Music Database

You can now turn off the notes feature on your Music Database website tool, preventing your clients from being able to attach notes to their requests. You can turn this feature on or off from the Master Settings page of your control panel.

New file format for uploading your music list

Due to changes in the Microsoft Office 2003 suite, we were forced to move to a new file format for uploading your music list. The new file format is actually easier and streamlines the entire process. Only the format of the file has changed, not the file layout itself. Our system now accepts a tab delimited file instead of a comma delimited file. In addition, all files should now have the extension of ".txt" on them (not ".csv"). Lastly, double-quote text qualifier should no longer be used. This sounds complicated, but it is actually a very simple change. We have provided step-by-step detailed instructions on the Music Database upload page of your control panel. For most applications, such as Excel, all you have to do is select "Tab delimited text file TXT" from the "save as" drop-down instead of "Comma separated value CSV". And that's it!

Update client email address for client login

Previously, as you may know, you were unable to edit the client's email address on a client login. You actually had to go through a series of manual steps to make the update. Under the new system, you can now edit any and all pieces of information on a client login, including the client's email address! In addition, the improved system will automatically keep the email addresses on all forms in sync so that you should no longer end up with any duplicate forms with different email addresses. The system is now completely streamlined and refined. This should eliminate any problems with conflicting data on multiple forms.

Series of new protective client data "save" measures put in place

Every now and then we would receive notification from a subscriber that their client could not retrieve the work they previously saved. While the system was indeed functioning properly, we learned of many small quirks that could indeed confuse the system and overwrite data in the incorrect places. We have installed literally over a dozen new protective measures to ensure that your client data saves successfully and can be retrieved with ease at anytime. Some of these improvements include pop-up reminder boxes, prompting your clients to save as necessary. Others involve back-end code improvements we have put into place to ensure all data syncs up correctly. In short, any quirks you've experienced previously should now begin to fade away!

New DJ Webmin direct "hotlink" inside of event emails

Emails sent from the Availability Checker, Booking System, Contact Form, and Quote Generator now contain a direct link that takes you to that calendar page within DJ Webmin. Now you can go directly to that event within DJ Webmin with a single click. This makes for faster, tighter integration with DJ Webmin.
